This was pretty good, and funny.

The familiar friendly jibes that we witnessed throughout the TV series were evidence of the close friendship between Jim and Bones - and that same relationship was easily identifiable in this story. It was a really, really, really impressive piece of writing. Nothing to nit-pick or complain about, which is what I like to see. Admirable work, Ginger Ninja.

Wow. This was fantastic. Hilarious. Charming. And just downright cute. I'm only slightly disappointed that I didn't discover this sooner. I must say that Jim is possibly the most adorable drunk ever. When he kept mentioning the Kelvin, though, I'm not going to lie - I got tears in my eyes. Poor guy. Anyway, both of your characters were spot on - I loved McCoy so so much. Great job and I'm looking forward to reading more of your stuff.

I love, love, LOVE your Star Trek xi stories...pretty much all of them and just like potato chips, I want more.

Wonderful developments of friendships and the scenarios and your descriptions put me right there, it's like seeing the extended cut of the movie.

I think the thing I like most about Star Trek is the sense of humor and comradeship. You really have that done well.

You also know the characters and they are written fantastically. Able to picture them doing this in my mind.

Bizarre yet touching. I don't get how you do it. I adore drunk Jim. He's just so much fun. It's nice to see that his dad's death does affect him, no matter how much he acts like it doesn't. Again, the relationship between Kirk and Bones is beautiful. Hope you're having a great summer so far.
