It would be difficult for anyone to loose an eye, but for someone who hunted ghosts? By choosing Johns POV, you managed to show the emotion without sounding corny - great work.

Wow, that was tough but great at the end. Poor Dean, damn. One thing I love about that show is they know how to protect the pretty, even when he's beaten silly, a little red and purple makeup and that's it. They never do to Dean's face what they did to Sam's end of season one and they used hell as a chance to renew his bod to show it off. They know where their bread is buttered.
