I love the way you have Laurie as Batman and I can barely wait to find out what happens next. ;)

This story is amazing! I love Laurie! What timeframe is this story set in?

A cliffhanger... just as Laurie and Jo face each other! How evil! Hehe.

Lovely writing, as before. I have a few questions, though:

1) Had Laurie intruded upon Jo and Crane, then thought that they were lovers? ('Cause Bruce had seen Rachel kiss that DA in Batman Begins...) And then when Jo had complained about Crane, Laurie laughed because he realized he was mistaken? :)

2) Do you have any particular actress in mind as Laura? I imagined perhaps Scarlet Johansson (because of the way she looked in The Other Boleyn Girl, and in Iron Man 2 promo pics). But you probably have a better idea, please do tell. :)

I was so happy this morning when I woke up and saw you had updated. Ha Crane got kneed by Jo. He definitely deserved it. When will we see bat!Laurie in action? Not that playboy!Laurie isn't sexy too. Oh he's just delicious! M!

Hehe, now I can picture feisty Amy as an older Kirsten Dunst (as she's an adult now!) because of this line: "Amy's adorable and only slightly flattened nose wrinkled..."

Amy and Laura are together, aren't they?! 'Cause that would be wicked cool, it's like Amy still ended up with Laurie... just a different one. :P

And oh yes, I would definitely like to read more of Amy! :-)

what a way to wake up at 3 in the arvo! vegemite on corn thins and a ripper of a story. honestly maria, you always do it so goddamned splendidly - i love LOVE LOVE a kick ** amy, she's got the knowledge to pass with flying colours in society and still do it all her way, making others dance to her tune without lifting a finger - that is just so her. and man, i cannot wait to read jo and laurie meeting. oh god i love batman and putting it with little women is just genious. GENIOUS.

Bring on the Amy! Somehow she can't escape her fate to be shackled to someone named Laurie. I do hope Jo will be fine with the whole lesbian for a sister thing. Hehe Jo in feathers and ringlets, I would pay to see a picture of that. On another note, a revolution might occur if Laurie (the male one) does not make an appearance soon. Keep on writing!

I think this chapter works as a very good set up for waht's to come and I can't wait for next chapter. I like your Amy (bold move, by the way, hooking her up with girl!Laurie) but I absolutely love your Fred. He's so awesome!

wow oh wow, let's see here what suitable adjectives can I use to describe how completely fantastic this is? Fabulous, squee-inducing greatness. Anyway this is fantastic. I always thought Jo would do fantastic as a reporter. I can't wait to see Laurie. Please update this is too magnificent to simply stop here. And yes Fred already has a warm place in my heart. And the part about Amy turning Jo's death threat into a piece of art? Whatta girl! Please include Amy in this and perhaps Mrs. March too? I dearly love your writing style, attention grabbing, original and not too descriptive. I do love good action. This is too good to not finish so please do.

This is by far the most original crossover I've ever read and I'm very intrigued by it. Will you continue it? I'd like to see Bat!Laurie in action. By the way, who is the mysterious friends who lives with Amy and Jo? Maybe I've missed that part?

Batman Begins crossed over with Little Women?! Neat.

Laurie is one of the few characters that Christian Bale has portrayed who didn't quite have that aura of danger that Bale usually has. And making him the Dark Knight here, well, it's a fantastic idea.

"she had made her most famous heroine turn down the proposal of the handsome swain she had grown up with" - basically Jo writing about herself, hmm? :P

I love the letter of "A Certain Winged Admirer of An Unusual Persuasion"; it's so utterly formal, but with that cheeky addendum... It makes me laugh trying to imagine Batman writing that way! But really, how careless of Laurie to throw that rock at Jo's window. Not yet very accurate, hmm?

This brings so many questions. Did Laurie train with ninjas? Samurais, perhaps? And I imagine he wouldn't be able to get a fast vehicle like the Tumbler, so is the Dark Knight going to be on horseback, like Zorro? Is Laurie is going to maintain a Bruce Wayne billionaire playboy act? Is Jo going to wring his neck when she learns he threw that rock at her window?

Can you tell I already love this story? :-)
