Reviews for: Mortality
Castalia Moirae

Interesting, but if people have been breeding in the Wasteland for 200 years (and they must have been, think about it) then it's not likely this would occur. I suppose it's not impossible either, though.

It makes sense but I feel like if you're going to take it in that direction then you might as well espouse the plausibility of the effects of up-close radiation. For one, sterility isn't always a direct result of sitting in a pool of irradiated water. Mirelurks can reproduce can't they? And I would assume she would more likely get cancer and/or some other genetic mutation. Haha sorry for being so technical. I do see the point you're trying to make with this story and yes it's very well written but I think what started out as interestingly austere and thought-provoking kind of led to an anti-climactic epiphany. That's my only real complaint. Thanks!

Wow. You know, I'd never thought of that. And it's so true. In fact, it's a miracle that the human population hadn't died out completely, or mutated even further with all the radiation. And yeah, sitting in the radioactive puddle for Moira - not the smartest thing for a woman who wants children.

Other than an interesting concept, this is well written and just long enough. Thanks for a good read.
