One thing I should point out, is that the Umisenken technique you mentioned 'isn't' the invisibility technique. That skill never gets named. What Ranma used it for was to steal and carry things.

Also, Henge and Bunshin are ninjutsu, not genjutsu. Genjutsu work by manipulating targets senses to make them 'think' they see/hear/feel something. Henge and Bunshin create what are essentially holograms that are real images. Images with not substance (at least until you use the more advanced versions) but still holograms.

At least that's how I figure, since canon has said they're ninjutsu.

While overall, this is a pretty good story, A Ranma crossover without Ranma, is not a Ranma Crossover. This story is 99.9% naruto and .1% Ranma. I think you should re-classify it or state that up front. Either way keep up the good work, I look forward to the next chapter.

Hm...I REALLY want to see Kakashi's reaction to the "Find the Daimyo's Cat" mission. It would be something rather...funny...specially if like Ranma, Kakashi somehow does attracts the felines for some weird reason.

I hope you'll have Naruto study Capoeria later in this story.

Great story so far. Not only did you provide an uncommon cross/fusion between Naruto and Ranma, you provided other things I love without them being in conflict.

For example, I've enjoyed Kakashi's realizations about Naruto (as you wrote them) more than any other "Genius Naruto" fic I've ever seen and I'm glad to decided to shake the team up a bit. I don't think I've ever seen a Naruto-Shino dynamic of any kind before.

I've been adding quotes to my quotes collection at an unusually high rate. (An indicator that you're good at writing amusing or unusually clever/insightful scenes or jokes. This varies independently of the overall story quality if you examine my data on stories I've read.)

If you ever find yourself needing a second opinion on a plot idea, needing help getting past writer's block, or needing a beta on this story, feel free to ask. I'm quite good at identifying problems with stories and explaining them and I have a natural talent for the English language. (I'd be writing my own stories if I could figure out how to build mental character models useful for more than just beta-ing)

Silat is pretty interesting but i wouldn't suggest it for someone who uses allies who can atack in the 3 dimensional. the current version is pretty ritualized. Personally I'd suggest one of the indian martial arts(armed or unarmed versions) Kalaripayattu perhaps which is one of the originators of martial arts.

Sambo is a strength based martial arts based on wrestling or overpowering your opponent. Quite frankly it wouldn't suit Ino's light frame unless Kakashi already knows Tsunade's techneque and is planing to teach her on top of everything else. Same time,Tsunade's technique is more on the japanese idea of the perfect stroke or channelling your power into one specific attack or series of attacks.
judo is more about destabalizing the opponent. Qigong is in knowing your space, his space, and how you can disrupt your opponet's motions.

Good job by the way but I'd consider teaching them one and only one style as even dedicated practitioners take years to learn

okay, so Kakashi is Ranma reincarnated, and Anko is... Shampoo? for a solid story line this works nicely, but if it were a crack fic, I'd have got with Kodochi (couse she is of the crack :p).

I like how you aren't turning them into carbon copies of their past selves. And I like the direction you're taking the team's training.
