Considering your earlier comments about English being your third or fourth language, your grammar is really good. I have read worse work from people whose first language was english, so don't worry too much.
I would offer to be a beta reader, but my life is a bit too nuts right now, studying for final exams and college entrance tests, etc. I hope you find a good beta.

Since English is not your first language, I think you are using it well enough. Sometimes you do use a word that is wrong (like 'stayed' instead of 'stay.') That is minor. You are making me remember the grammar pounded into my head so long ago by asking about yours. A second language is an accomplishment, and writing in it is a challenge that you accepted. Trust me. You should see how the language is butchered by people who speak and write it as their only language.

oh good, he's in confusion and a bit of denial, but he definitely likes kaoru... but one hopes tomoe isn't going to act all catty and make kaoru think kenshin thinks of her as a sister.
