A truly lovely opening chapter. I am always interested in FFI-based fanfiction, and you seem to be doing it justice so far. I always wondered what the consequences might be of disrupting a time-loop like that. I look forward to reading more!

Despite the weapon, even when sheathed, looking ancient and trashed – mainly due to the fact that it [i]was[/i] ancient – it was really a rather powerful weapon.

Not only had Garland [i]not[/i] kidnapped the princess, but someone else apparently had instead.
