D'aww! The last line made me melt a little inside. It's so like Feliks to say something so cute in such an insulting way. xD Bet he doesn't even realize he's being insulting.

The way he assumed Lithuania was his again was both cute and very in-character, considering the way the supposedly equal commonwealth ended up. Which fits with Liet's response. xD And Poland's answer to that... well, it was very Poland. He doesn't mean it; he would never sacrifice his independence. I don't think he would know how to even if he ever wanted to, to be honest. Still, it's a cute statement a defused Liet completely. xD Mother-hen Lithuania, hello.

The way you set the scene was brilliant, too. ^^ I could almost smell the wheat and feel the sunshine. And you really used the setting with the billowing sheets well.

The title to this made me think of Pablo Neruda and his odes to ironing, socks, etc. That, plus the lovely snippet for the summary made me click to read it, and I'm glad I did - even though this is a short piece your characterizations shine. Independent Lithuania makes my heart warm :D and adoring Poland is adorable. that last line! <3 This is some lovely prose. yay! good job!

Great story! I think you managed to keep the liet and feliks in character really way - I can so imagine Feliks buying new clothes instead of wahsing them!!

This was bitter-sweet, but so in character. Poland still doesn't listen to a word Lithunaia says.

The imagery was this is great, and I thought the characterization was amazing, too. Lithuania quiet and frustration and Poland's . . . it's not airheadedness (or at least not completely), it's something totally different, and you captured that very, very well, I think.

The end was so sweet, in a kind of surprising way.

Great job!
