this is absolutely ** fabulous. really. really really. i feel like i just went on a journey. like with a canteen. i just woke up (and yes, it's after 3pm) and read this, and i ** love it. wonderful. stupendous. maybe now that i have 2 weeks till my next class, i can actually watch the west wing dvds you bought me. fabulous.

Great story! 'He smiles back at her and she smiles back at him, but it's all lost when he asks, "Hey, doesn't your roommate have cats?! Here kit-tay, kit-tay, kit-ay..."' made me laugh, very funny. I really enjoyed this story and the way you form their relationship. The way you wrote about Inauguration night is a perfect way to imagine it, I think. Fantastic.

yay! Please, please, write West Wing more often. This was fabulous, because it walked that fine edge between canon and fill-in, in that everything seemed very spot on and in character, and yet it was a whole different side to these characters' lives. So, yeah, more please!
