Tiannangel 2009-10-07 . chapter 1That was wonderful to read, I really wish there were more stories for this pairing.
Great job! |
silentskulls 2009-10-03 . chapter 1I absolutely loved this. :D It is a horrible shame that there aren't more Layton/Flora fics, so when I found this, I opened it with great excitement and was satisfied with what I had read. I could relate to what she was thinking, and it all made such sense! Fabulous job; I love the way you write. |
Luv2Game 2009-09-17 . chapter 1THIS! This is exactly how I imagine Layton and Flora's relationship! Flora has got to be at least sixteen (I always pictured her closer to eighteen-ish), she's just a very naive young adult. I never could jump on the father/daughter band-wagon, and I really like the take you took with this. And you kept it all Flora, which is refreshing. If I see either charcter having a one-sided relationship, it's her. Really, I picture Layton as being oblivious as he is in this. Outwardly, at least. You basically wrote what I see, and I am so happy to find that I'm not the only one with this mind-frame.
'Cause if Layton/Flora is so 'wrong', what's Luke/Flora? XD
But, yes, this was a very enjoyable read. Nicely written. Loved it. *fav* |
Mercs 2009-09-03 . chapter 1 Wow! This story is criminally under reviewed. This Is my favorite pairing and a wonderful drabble. You dud a great job of going into Flora's head. I hope you'll consider more! |
Kthulu 2009-08-18 . chapter 1Brilliant. I have to say that this is one of the best fanfics I have ever read, not only because it steers clear of really gross stuff (I know, I'm a prude) but because it's heart is in the right place.
I am actually dating a man twice my age, so the emotion in this story was very raw for me, a kind of do I, don't I question, but knowing that love is *Ahem* The greatest thing of all. When you aren't getting dumped, that is. :)
Also, I love the Layton style. He's so suave, but not annoying like the 007 movies.
Only thing I would advise is that the really long sentences need to be thought through. Humans are naturally easily bored, and long sentences get skipped over, which would be a pity in this case.
You are awesome. I love you. But now I gotta go read more Layton/Flora! |
