Aw, that was so cute! Alex/Tom pairing is something I never thought of, but you really wrote it well! My favorite line: "Tom laughing. “So you’ll use the government’s world class military training just to protect me?”" Hehe, it's so romantic in a sort of James Bond/MI6 kind of way!
