This is a sweet little fic, that really gets under Garnet's skin, letting us know how she felt when Zidane didn't come back. I also liked the way you had the 'companions' in the crowd cheering her on.

You could make it longer, though - the ending is a bit sudden.

Considering that I "just" beat FF9 a few days ago, this story really helps the mood for the ending. Keep it up. Really.

Very eloquent, the mood was perfect. The ending was rushed, but all of us who've played the game already saw that part anyway_ I'm glad you made it two years-a lot of people write the ending as happening much too soon, like a month or two! It should be two years at least, I mean, Garnet's hair had grown back, and the castle looked good-as-new! Keep writing!
