What an exceptional ending. I never would have guessed. Murder and Scully? Amazing. I hope you will continue the story on that site? I want the chapter with Brass and Weena, of course. Send it over as soon as you can, please. Wouldn't have missed this read for the world. Entertaining and enlightening as to people's psyches. The humor is your trademark and it is why I always check out one of your tales.
Loved the story!

As you know, I don't like 'kid' stories or happy endings. LOL But this one was done well with humor (the milk coming down from the cafeteria and don't break it, when Brass was about to burb the baby) and finesses.
I especially liked the head nurse who out 'machoed' Brass. LOL. Weena is precious! I am beginning to appreciate her finer points.

So, the difference of the 'alien' and his position (his kind also)in society and class privileges allow him to live undetected. Good sub story plot. Being a bit melancholy and indulging in the retrospect of his life as a record.

Leaving some mystery alluding to the 'hunt'. He is different, aging, yet a strength and power dwells within him.

His thoughts begin to dwell on his mate(s). His thoughts of morales and scruples but yet referencing his 13 mates. While seeking within himself the desire for 'her' even as she excites him, she is a dangerous guilty pleasure to hunger for.

Then the 'her' becoming Haley in the story, he contemplated his role as Master to the subservient role of herself, yet he without jealousy or possessiveness. As his blood stirs and rises in a bubbling boil as he recognizes his revered elder position and the compliant worship that befits that position.

His only true indulgence for himself comes as he opens the book and nourishes the thoughts of the exquisite journey he intends to embark upon.

Then, we advance to Skully and Mulder and their love and hate disertation. Suggesting the 'vampire' theme as if othe reader would be a blood sucker, mesmerizing the author into a tryst that has been long in materializing during another exquisit journey.

I would love to see what you have gone for in the Brass/Weena chapter.

The dots are fine. Leaving "the child" without a name is not, lol.
Loved the twist with bringing Scully and Mulder into it. Didn't see that one coming.
Good story. But I would have liked the "JIm and Weena" come home bit, as you know.

Young Frankenstein knockers! Brass cracks me up. He is leery about meeting her parents. LOL. We find a little about Weena's life in this one. I like back ground. And the Lady Heather remark, I met her in an official capacity that the story and I'm sticking to it. LOL Brass is back!

As a guy, I understand what Brass is experiencing. I understand why he is so bent out of shape. He has to step up though. He did the deed, he must face the responsibility. I think he did Weena **. I hope he works it all out before Weena decides to take another hike.

An old Irish lullaby and the angels 'r chasin' the devil away, given the child this one sunny day.
Anyway, good move, got the childbirth action down and out, now, introducing . . . Junior! The plot just keeps on thickening, just like chowda'.

Bringing in the 'alien' aspect of Weena into some perspective for Brass, even though he isn't catching it all. Makes for a guilty pleasure of tension and anxiety of what will happen when he does 'open his eyes' to what is before him and takes it all in in full measure.

Making me seriously high following the story.

callih,

These last few chapters are very interesting. Using the characters in parallel actions, keeping emotions moving among all four even as they pair off. Very good.

Bringing out the good from Brass in a brighter and central way, while leaving foreboding circulating throughout the action.

Keeping the sexual tension and descriptions rolling and the promise of the physical and emotional ride through Brass' promiscuous nature while keeping Weena and the child in the forefront.

I get where this could be going and waiting for you to bring it all home for a bit.

Good one, I knew that you were playing the foursome and it looks as though Weena (telepathically or otherwise) is always besting Brass. Too bad for him, he likes his women as much as his women like him. I suggest that the real problem is going to arise with Vincent before things go the course. In the meantime, Weena and Brass have the connection, and Brass is the boyscout that will stick by the family unit. Even if he does have it bad for Haley. I am watching Vincent. I think they all 'get it'.

This scenario is a little unexpected, but grand! The darkness of it all, the fact that both Haley and Vincent know what they want and how they want it but insist on working each other for confirmation.

Haley, damaged, recently having her life twisted and then Brass, whoo! Now, then the heat is on and the electricity is slowly building up from a love - hate tirade from both characters.

Fleshing out the story line and complicating matters for all involved.

I say go for it and let them realize what it is they have left simmering for so long. 587-6309. You'll get it, I know you will.

You know, I've always suspected Weena was different. Now you've made several references. She's a freaking alien. In an earlier review I called her robot like. It's a good thing we have Brass to take care of the kid. I don't think she is capable, apparently this is all new to the occupants of her planet.

About Vince: it was just two minutes after Brass had broken up with Haley and he was trying hard to get in her pants. She was hurting and crying. I wanted to comfort her, to hold her, comfort away the hurt. Obviously she was annoyed at his attempts to ** her at that moment. It's not that I don't like big Vinny, I thought he should care about her more. He'll get his chance.
