Loving this story. I can't wait till the next chapter. As for Harry, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE have him rip Lily a new one and not just run off crying like a baby. He defeated a dark lord. He knows from the stone that his parents, remus and sirus love him. This bint just insulted his father, his godfather (whom I'm sure he's feeling serious angst/anger issues for) and him, while looking at him as though he were dirt. PLEASE make him force her to see some pensieve memories or something. Others he should be saying "Why the bloody hell should I help you?" SHe needs to start begging for forgiveness and to get to know the real Harry and HIS father, not the one she imagines he is off her James. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE don't make Harry some kinda super softy "Oh, they need my help, let me stand in front of a killing curse for them." These people have zero connection to him even if one is wearing his mothers face.

It's interesting but I have a few problems - the whole Vernon/Lily doesnt work for me. I have given it a chance but in the end you just havent made it believable. There is just no way Lily would marry him over debt, considering both the country and their ethnic back ground. I dont know if some cultures work this way but England? It stretches belief to far. I understand that Vernon is a fairly unloveable character, but this is an AU spend the time to build up some history.
My second complaint would be the length, beef the story up. Take this as a compliment in that I want more. This chapter was ok, but didnt realy go anywhere.

Such an interesting chapter, loved seeing the reactions all around and the possibility that Petunia and Vernon had an arranged marriage in Harry's world.

My, that does change a lot of things in the world he now finds himself it. It should prove rather interesting to see how he copes with the differences and whether, and how, he helps out the BWL in *this* universe. I can see that Lily Dursley is going to have quite a time adjusting to who she's summoned.
