I loved the way you portrayed Vann, sly and manipulative (not in a bad way though).
Is there gonna be more? The way you wrote makes it that if you wanted to write more there's a potential for more.

Vaan can be a bit of an idiot at times. How much of your Vaan's stupidity if deliberate?

He seems a bit darker and maybe a bit more manipulative but that's probably out of necessity. I mean, look at the nethacite. It would be too dangerous to use without risking youself using it, right? But look at the how badly everyone wanted it. How much fuss would be made over a mindreader?

This was a fun little piece.

One of the things that frustrated me the most about Final Fantasy 12 was the amount of loose ends they never got around to tying up. One example is Vaan's strange ability to seemingly see spirits, for lack of a better term, which is never explained or explored at all.

A shame, really.

If you ever decide to write another story about FF12, I hope you use this small oneshot as a launching pad. I'd love to see a story where his unique ability is explored.
