Sythar 9/25/09 . chapter 1Oh - that's adorable. Really - loved it. I am now extremely curious to find out what on earth happened at the meeting that Enjolras Himself would feel prodded to apologise! I don't suppose you'd consider writing a prequel about that? :) |
LesMisLoony 7/7/09 . chapter 1Aw, poor Enjolras, being so left out and vaguely unlikeable. The interaction between Combeferre and Grantaire at the end was just too precious! They have chemistry! |
Wertherfieber 7/5/09 . chapter 1I... am dumbfounded by how similar this is to a story I was plotting out about a day before this was posted. To the extent that I'm now afraid to write mine for fear of seeming like I'm paraphrasing yours! Well, I like it - happy to see this pairing (was recently lamenting the lack thereof) and in fact excited over any Grantaire slash. (There's so little posted of late that I wouldn't worry about being cliché even if it were - which it's not).
"Did you think he'd storm my bedroom like the Bastille?" - that line should have seemed corny as anything but instead made me grin.
One little thing, a few quotation marks seem to have gone astray - otherwise reads pretty smoothly. I find the whole scene endearing. |
ColonelDespard 7/5/09 . chapter 1Thoroughly enjoyable! And no - Combeferre/Grantaire is *not* a pairing one expects to see. Poor Enjolras, walking in on that one - hopefully to remain oblivious thereafter as to who was with whom. As an aside, I agree that Combeferre is a bit of translator for Enjolras...he seems to spend time translating Enjolras for the outside world, and I can see the smae working in reverse. Great vignette! |
