I love reading your lemons as they unfold but the plot of this story has me hooked. As I read I'm scouring the story for the little glimpses into the what happened in Kaname's past and what might happen in the near future.

I can't quite imagine Kaname disciplining Zero and getting the hunter to enjoy it, but I sure if anyone could write that scenario, it would be you. Are you considering writing such a scene? Looks forward to it eagerly. :D

I doubt I'll ever tire of your lemons :D Although I would definitely like things to come out soon... for our poor boys' sake as well as for my own curiosity.
I'm not sure if Zero would really be suprised that Kaname enjoys pain... After all, he kinda learned that lesson at the end of Blood Moon, when they had that nice little encounter on the balcony ;)

Of course, in the end, Zero knows exactly how to sooth the insecurities of our dear Pureblood. Kaname is really close to opening up (and trusting) Zero with his scary childhood memories.

First of all, have to say that I absolutely loved it. And never worry about someone growing bored with your lemons. That's always one of the concerns I have before reading a new story because sometimes it just seems that the author tends to repeat those scenes. But I have never found that when reading any of your stories. Actually, this is one of my favorite series on here. (and I happen to be very picky when reading yaoi).

Um...what else was I going to say. Oh yeah, right. You mentioned that the songs are named after Skillet's "Whispers in the Dark" well I was wondering if you had heard their "Comatose". I never really imagined "Whispers" to really go along with any pairing but it does indeed go along with these couple of chapters. "Comatose" reminds me of the pairing also. If you haven't heard it you might want to check it out. Just a suggestion.

And regarding your reply about personal experiences making the piece of art more realistic (regardless whether it's a song, a painting, a fiction or a poem), I totally agree with you. I usually try and write (in another fandom) based on a personal experience, and try to build up on it, placing myself in the character's place and seeing how they would feel like. It usually brings out the chapter/fiction in a very pretty way. So I was told anyway, I can't tell, most of my fics suck ::giggles and tackles::

About the update, now. AWESOME chapter. I was squeeing and fangirling throughout it all. I REALLY see how those two fit in with the lyrics of "Whispers In The Dark" even more now. Simply beautiful. It was such a nice touch as well, how when they were exchanging their blood like that, Zero got to see a small bit of Kaname's...past. I was almost in tears. ::sniffles and stabs Kaname with a fork:: At least now he knows what this is all about...a bit.

KYAA!! Kaname is so adorable. I dunno, tell you a secret. I didn't like VK much at all when I first started watching it. However, I have this habit of hunting down fics for ANY show that I watch. So yep, first fic I read for this fandom was your own "Domination", followed by Sagakure's "Forget"...and yep. I was pretty much hooked on the pairing. And really, Zero/Kaname (in that order, yes) has got to be the fanfiction world's Dark chocolate. (Nope, not heroin, because heroin is bad for your health. Dark chocolate is good for you and your mood...and besides, you cannot ever ever break the habit.).

Anyway!! I am sidetracking, so back to the topic at hand.

I think I ruined my laptop's keyboard when I was reading that part in the...ahem...bathroom, thingy. I was drooling, rather literally. A bit yucky, if you ask me ::giggles::. But seriously, what is with them and bathrooms? ::raises eyebrow questioningly and laughs::. Makes you wonder if they are addicted to the feel of ceramic tiles, or if they are just weird like that. ::giggles and stabs Kaname with a fork once again::.

Hey, did you notice that the chapter is all placed at the center? It's the same with chapter 9 too...Dunno if you noticed or if the website is screwy or what. But meh, I am not complaining. Everything's good from you ::beams happily::.

I hope the next update won't be on a sunday ::headdesks again::. I took one of the patients to the wrong room today XD. Of course, I blamed the nurse, but really, it was because I didn't sleep. Hehe. Evil me.

WoW! First I have say that "I" never get tire of your lemons! Their so incredibly visual and wOw! My absolute favorite is the bed of roses:) When Zero first discovered his power. This one with the blanket of roses will also enter my favorite lemons of yours as well wOw! The hold chapter had me in a sheer sweat! It was that hot to me wOw! Ok I'm going to stop with the wows but wOw it was Tony the tiger great! As my mind climbs up above my waist:) I'm so glad Zero did get some insight to Kanames grief. Thank you times infinity for this update! *dances around* it was so, SO awesome!! This entire story is amazing to me; I love how you’re managing to keep the equal dominance in the relationship and their personalities the same throughout it, but at the same time making Kaname a whole lot more dependent on Zero this time round *grins*. Ok, reviewing time, sorry *laughs*.

I loved this chapter SO much, you have no reason whatsoever to be self conscious about it; nor the amount of lemons you put in. As I’ve said before; your lemons are never really smutty and pointless. What you may think of as going off on tangents that make you’re lemons too long (they’re never too long!) I see as plot; emotions and thoughts that give us a lot of insight into the characters. Sorry, getting distracted again! Ok, first of all; I loved that Zero first made sure that Kaname REALLY wanted to keep playing or not. It was so sweet *hugs Zero tightly*. I LOVED seeing a more dominant and sensual Zero...it makes me happy that he’s comfortable enough with Kaname to do it. You’ve probably guessed that I’m ecstatic at the fact that Kaname isn’t afraid and isn’t faking anything. I really liked how you wrote about Kaname needing to do it; needing to know that he can be for Zero what Zero is for him, to get a bit of his self worth back. I love his thoughts about how he can enjoy whatever Zero does to him because it’s Zero; and he trusts and loves him and that Zero would stop if he asked him to; it’s lovely to know that Kaname is making slight progress to feeling the distinction of the two experiences. And back to the lemon LOL.

The bathroom scene...WOW...that was SO hot; the whole time I was reading it I was like ‘go Zero!’ haha. Some of the things I loved most about it randomly were the fact that Zero wasn’t shy while he was doing it *so proud of his growth, hopes he keeps it up! (no pun intended)*. Also, I loved that it gave Kaname a chance to SEE Zero, to know it was him claiming him and not his nightmares. On top of all that, I enjoyed that Kaname loved seeing himself being claimed by Zero; it was extremely hot and lovely to see from him *hugs him*. Wow, Zero was so mean during this!! Haha, but mean in a good way. The window scene...so awesome; I loved Zero’s boldness and Kaname’s arousal that he could possibly be seen *snickers at the thought*. Now to the formal table *chuckles* I’m not sure how, but somehow you HAVE to include a scene that has them all having a formal, polite dinner, and include Zero and Kaname’s thoughts *snickers*. It’d be like ‘guess what we did on that table you’re eating on’ hahaha. *stops perverse suggestions* I was so happy that Kaname was responding to Zero’s aggressiveness in his normal way! Yay Kaname! Zero telling Kaname not to come was just so mean yet so awesome, haha, I felt so bad for the pureblood! Nice to see a bit more of Zero’s wild/controlling side *laughs*. Zero left him to cool down!! Haha. Man, REALLY feel sorry for Kaname now; Zero telling Kaname to stay there spreading his legs *laughs* it’s so nice to see them comfortable enough with each other to do this kind of stuff now...even if Kaname was blushing, haha.

I laughed so hard at Zero’s new ‘leash’ I love the humour you’ve put into this. Finally we have the couch! Over you go Kaname, haha. I adored the ending; Kaname finding true pleasure from Zero and Zero being everything Kaname needed at the moment. Aww, Zero’s all sweet and tender care afterwards *grins at both of them* I love Zero’s practical mind trying to show itself and swiftly being told where to go by Kaname, haha. Naww, a blanket of roses haha, I liked that Zero can joke about his abilities now. Yay! More of their banter! *addicted to it*. I enjoyed how you touched on Kaname’s slight masochism, with Zero smacking him; but I was surprised that Zero was surprised about Kaname liking it. Is it that Kaname still doesn’t feel comfortable enough to admit it to Zero yet? “Yes... he did like it. And someday, when he thought Zero was ready, he'd show him how good it felt.” That has me thinking of future lemons *laughs* but did Kaname mean that he’d show Zero how good it felt by hitting him? Or show him how much he enjoyed Zero doing it? Anyway, I have to admit that I was immensely glad that Zero didn’t freak out and seemed willing to try it later...I guess it’d be a new element to their future lemons?

The blood sharing session was very sweet...for the most part. I was glad that Kaname took the initiative to sit on Zero and get him going without being afraid. It was nice to see a slow and tender session between them afterwards *hugs them tightly* they both really needed it. The sort of vision Zero saw through Kaname’s blood; I was like ‘yes! Maybe Zero will start to understand or at least investigate?’ it was an awful scene though, poor Kaname, if that’s what he remembers, I hate to think of what he’s repressed. I loved that Zero had a bit of compassionate sorrow for Kaname; crying for him, I only wished he took it literally. Kaname’s reaction made my heart break; he was so scared that he cried! *hugs them yet again*. I adored the way Zero dealt with it; telling Kaname how much he was loved and deserving of it; it was kind of like he instinctively knew what he needed. It gives me some hope that he’ll deal with the confession well? *crosses fingers*. Man, I wish I could turn the light off with my mind...it would save so much effort, I HATE it when I forget to turn a light off and have to get up *laughs*.

Ok, the end of another essay length review! Thank you so much for this chapter and the effort you put into the story! I’m already needing the next chapter! *laughs while eagerly awaiting*. Thanks for giving our boys a slight break BW, I’m assuming it’ll be their only one for quite a while *sighs*.

This might not further the plot itself but it does further the relationship between the two which is also integral to the story. so dont give yourself a hard time, some people might think that lemons do not have any use other than titilation but lemons do form a very integral part of the emotional landscape of the protagonists. this was not a lemon for a lemons sake, this actually had a purpose and was necessary - kaname will need the information and strength he found in this scene later on (i assume). more important than the lemon is the emotions expressed, that is what makes this scene so lovely.

i really do enjoy your writing ... it is a good thing you write so many stories and they are so long. then again i do read books of more than a 1 0 pages on a routine basis.

as always a wonderful story. I had a brief fear that someone was going to be outside watching them when they went to the window and that Kaname was going to panic. Still though, I was very much intrigued by Zero stumbling across that memory. I want to know more! Can't wait until you get to the next chapter, I'm looking forward to it!
