I loved this. Its a perfect addition to the Oath Breaker series. I've often wondered about how Lucius ended up joined with both Narcissa and Severus and how their relationships developed.
I really enjoyed the subtle humor and insights into Severus' past. The gradual growth of their (Narcissa and Severus) comfort and trust in each other felt exactly right.
I'm definitely looking forward to reading more Oath Breaker (whatever the context).

I loved the interaction between the three of them. The foodfight made me laugh. I'm glad that Narcissa is accepting Severus. The intereaction between them and Draco was brilliant.

God how I love this series. <3 I'm about to go re-read Oath Breaker. Again. <3 This one was very good! I really liked watching Cissa and Sev bond over ingredients and the whole Draco's a cauldron-baby. He's like the Wizard version of a test tube baby! XD

So this is the answer to the convoluted question of the Malfoy family? From the earlier story, I would not have expected Snape to have been there so early in the relationship: You did. I figured he came once it turned out Narcissa couldn't have kids. I know this site is PG, but they truly were a threesome? I thought some of the angst in the earlier stories was due to Lucius only sharing the bed of one of them at a time. That would account for much of their rivalry. After all, if they share affection (i.e. bed privileges) and a love of potions, why are they so snippy to each other? And if they could have a child between them so easily, why was Draco an only child? You left the ending kind of cliffy, didn't you. So that was meant to be that fateful October 31? Well, as I said: at least that explains one of the story lines in your excellent work.

Interesting read. I normally never read fics other than Harry/Draco, but I was interested because it tied in with Oath Breaker. I quite liked this change, and it was interesting to see the little backstory on the three. Very nice. :>

=O You're making me fall in love with your Severus, as opposed to the book's Severus :P Great side story by the way, and I love how you managed to make the gap between Narcissa and Severus closer than I had anticipated, especially with all the bickering in the other stories.

God. I LOVE your Potterverse. It's so nice to have REASONS for things. I never did buy Rowling's black and white universe, painted in flat monochrome. I much prefer complexities, where the dark can swallow you whole and the light can burn without a trace.

I _do_ have a few questions, firstly, you never did say if Sev added his blood or not. Secondly, it seems to me that you might have run out of steam (temporarily?) on Oathbreakers II. I hope you will continue with it. I really want to see how Harry and Draco navigate post-voldie post-truce. There's so much that could go wrong/happen. As I'm sure you know, it is your story. :does the embarrassed foot shuffle:

I love this. It answers so many questions about their relationship in Oath Breaker, and it's nice to learn more about this Narcissa. I feel like I now understand your version of these characters so much better, and I can't wait to continue seeing them in the sequel to Oath Breaker!

Yay! This story was unexpected (I've been crossing my fingers for an update to Oath Breaker II.) But it was most welcome. =) This insight into the relationship between Lucius, Narcissa, and Severus before and just after Draco's birth was excellent. It really enriches the series as a whole, and it helped me to understand their characters more.

I like how Sev and Cissa bond over potions, and how they both do their best to make do with sharing Lucius. I loved baby Draco and the food fight (so undignified...but obviously they needed it to relieve the tension!).

I also like how they realize at the end that Voldemort is no Morgan or even a Mordred, but you show very well that there really isn't another option available to them. It made me wonder if a true Dark Lord or just someone they could all rally around in some fashion might be on the horizon for Oath Breaker II.
