Aw. Even I feel sorry for Christine. She was the only TOS character I was meh about. The whole Spock crush thing--I had a crush on the man that was easier to stomach when I was 13! :)

The moment I saw the title, I thought "Rawhide?"

I like how you've given us a brief glimpse into Christine's life--and it's a very sad life. You've also given us a look at the downside of a service-related career--whether it's in space or Earthbound it means you carry your home around with you.

As always, nicely done. It would be interesting to have a POV of the other TOSers reactions to the end of the 5YM. We already can guess that most aren't happy or are conflicted about it.
