I like how you ended your short story with the same ending as the book. I also like how you used his vocabulary, it made it more like Amory instead of just a story about Amory.

"Even though I am not praised by my peers yet, I have indeed gained the praise of several others in this establishment." I liked that line quite a bit.

It's been a while since I've read "This Side of Paradise", however, this does seem to be a lot like Amory Blaine; kudos to you for staying in character. *hug*(because I hate when people just make a new person out of a character for no reason or any story/explanation behind the change)

WOW, this was incredible. It's nice to see some 'Paradise' fanfiction. It's such a great and popular book, that's too bad it doesn't have its own spot in the Books section.
