I really really enjoyed these chapters every one of them where good, I expecially like how Boomer and Athena are on Galactica together and the tense feelings they have for each other.

First a big thumbs up for your version of BSG. An interesting take-on of the story. But I have two nitpicks as well. Hmm. more than two actually, but these 2 are itching.

1) Callgirl-Six as the tiebreaker before the Civil War: I dont know if you saw "The Plan". No matter what you think about that movie, one thing is clear. Given Sixs sarcastic rundown and conclusion about Cavils plan, it is obvious that she regards it as an utter failure and it is implied by her reactions, that she was with the rest of her sisters at that vote in canon. In "Defector" Cavils plan does not function really better, so why should she help Cavil now?

It would have been better to use/create a "Sweet-8" for that, since unlike "Tough-6", "Sweet-8" despite for all her deviant love, stayed far more loyal to Cavils overall plan than "Callgirl-6" ever was.

2) Incestous Bastard: I know or think I know that you created that line as a running gag for the story, but the loathing you let the Cylons feel, is simply wrong. For the Cylons, who, according to R. Moore himself, are all bisexual from the start and have a totally different social structure, Incest is a meaningless concept. Neither good nor bad. They would not comment on it and if coaxed to answer, there would no real answer, since the Cylons lack the context which goes above an intellectual exercise.

It's great to have you back. Saul Tigh is not the only one driving Sarah nuts; she's also getting it from Natalie. From her POV, the cylons and humans must seem to have reached the point where they truly deserve one another.

A couple of small points. First, the baseships only have four spurs; I presume that the reference to six is a misprint. Second, you wrote "Natalie Faust (who had elected not to join the Colonial military, along with the rest of her group)." This is ambiguous: did the other cylons enlist, or not?

Pesterfield noted some of the typos, but there are quite a few others. It's a fun chapter, so I hope that you'll go back in when you have the chance, and clean it up.

So...the Cylon Civil War has begun, and now Cavil has both Ellen and Tori. I wonder if he'll keep them in the same room, and watch them Cat Fight...the incestuous old pervert. God, when you think about it, when Ellen was sleeping with in on New Cap, she was basically sleeping with both her son & father, since she gave him his father's face... So will the Rebel Cylons still be joining the Fleet?

Absolutely love the smack down between Boomer and Tory. I'm guessing we'll run into the unlovely Miss Foster on the Hub?

It's also great to have Tough Six enter the story; hope that Shelly is still alive, and that we'll see her at some point as well.

Didn't follow the part about a program for Cylon pregnancies. Did you mean an attempt to have a second child on the part of the three Cylon birth mothers?

Honestly, the whole supernatural angle employed by BSG always felt like to much of a MGuffin for me; a way for RM to wrap the series up as conveniently as possible. Well, I guess you had to go with the hand dealt you. Navigation by stomach ache is one I didn't see coming. Never read the comic series on the Final 5 so no problem with ignoring it. Over all a good update but nothing I could point to as being spectaucularly great or in need of improvment. Just a good, solid, update...
