Wow, what a well written story! I'm impressed by the dead-on characterizations in this. The Alcalde's lines are especially perfect(ly evil), but you did a great job with all the characters. I love how caring Diego is throughout the whole story. It's a plot scenario that the Family Channel wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole, but you've portrayed it here so perfectly that I can almost imagine it as part of the show... Since the program has about 0% angst and under-uses Felipe to such extremes, this is a story to balance things out, a little! Bravo!

Distressing fic. Though, big bravo for a Zorro fic that's not about Victoria. Also, the way you showed Filipe give him his well-deserved justice.
