Wow, this is great! I got the impression that it was Eustace talking, for some reason. Very good!

Powerful and evocative, stark and urgent. I love the rhythm of the lines; they sound very natural and easy, yet regular. It reads beautifully aloud as well as looking good on the page. There are some standout phrases in here: "Our enemy has called our fate and comes," for instance. One of your best, I think.

Interesting. Free-form I take it? I'm not usually that much into poetry but this was good.
