I've shipped them since '19 Down' & 'One to Go'; they have quite a lot in common, I think, and just look so gorgeous together. Pairing them seems to follow on nicely from YoBling, too, IMO.
I'm so glad you've posted this; you've inspired me to go through my own unposted Ray/Cath and put it up!

The fic is so cute, but I don't like to much Wilston, so... I can't see Catherine with him, for me she's for Grissom (or well, Warrick's good too *__*). I think I don't like Wilston 'cause is rolled by Lawrence Firsbune, I mean, he's Morpheo! It's so odd the fact that he's a character in CSI that I can't accept it. And well, I prefer so much Grissom (I miss you~!)
But, yep, it's a bit sad that Catherine hasn't got any boyfriend and well, Ray is the only one that's interesting, he's the rookie CSI 1 and all... wahh Warrick, why you have to be killed? snif... snif... CSI without this two characters sucks a bit T_T.

Hmm, I have to keep on watching season 9! I haven't finished it yet xD.

I was just thinking about this ship a few days ago. I thought about who I would most like to see Catherine end up with on the show, and "Wilston" was dead last(LOL) with Catherine/Detective Wolfe[hint hint;)] in first place.
