I'd like to start this review off with an apology, because I've read this fic so many times because it's my absolute favorite oneshot in the, y'know, the universe and all, and I somehow have not reviewed it yet. The insanity!! I guess everytime I read it I just assumed that I've already reviewed... In any case, it deserves a long, detailed review, but I'll probably just end up rambling about the awesomeness of this story because that is what your writing has reduced me to.

Anyways, on to the actual review...I am offended by your claim that this is a fail, because your writing is so poetic and deep. You didn't include as much dialogue as a lot of fics I read, and since I'm not really a fan of dialogue myself, I really enjoyed that. I'm not saying you didn't have enough, I'm just saying that you had a good combination of description and dialogue. You include such wonderful descriptions, with words placed so carefully and I constantly find myself re-reading sentences because of how smooth they are, if THAT made any sense.

I liked how you pointed out Nick's surprising maturity in the beginning, because I just love to dwell on that because it fascinates me. And young Nick and Macy's interactions were nothing if not adorable. Oh, and also, your format was pure genius. I like to read stories that are set up similiarly to this, when they're written well, and this was written as close to perfect as possible.

I've never seen all of Finding Neverland myself, but it does strike me as something that Nick Lucas would enjoy. [I have heard the piano piece though, and I liked the image of Nick playing it with Macy. :)] Peter Pan was always a favorite of mine, and I think it was a perfect fairytale to include with this couple Macy and Nick seem to suit the roles of Peter and Wendy.

The length was fabulous too. I just adore long oneshots that are written well and well...you definately accomplished that. Sorry I rambled, I'm just impressed. This is my favorite fanfic. Ever. So just...well done on such a wonderful JONAS oneshot.

P.S. I've read two other oneshots by you; I'm smitten with your writing ability. XD

How do you do that?!??

How do you manage to make me feel angry and sad and happy and depressed and overjoyed and heartbroken and really really happy in just ONE story?

Goodness.

I'm seriously wracking my brain for the answer.

You are amazing. No doubt.

Oh God, I think I'm just in love with your stories and your writing styles. I think I'll review at least half of your stories by the time this week ends. Ha, what can I say? You're an amazing writer. I love how you used Fly With Me with this song. I love that song so much and you linked everything with the storyline so well :)

Gosh I freakin' loved this! I have been fascinated with Peter Pan since I watched it when I was a kid and also when I read the amazing book years ago:]
This story was incredible and I loved how Nick thought of himself as too different when he was older when in reality it was just hidden in him and taken out by Macy...did that make sense? Haha.
I also loved the 'Fly With Me' incorporation;) its a beautiful song.
Lovely story!

Amazing story - I love Nick as Peter Pan, partly because of all of the brothers, he is the one who grew up the fastest. I like the idea of him regretting that. And I have finished the first three pages of your story :) I promise to have it done by Friday!

So I promised to review this once I could do so and it not just be a repetition of things I've said before. Because much help or much fun. Plus I get to reread it, which is a lovely treat. (I'm also kind of hoping that you have at least an idea for another JONAS fic in the works?? *here's for hoping).

I think I made a comment about reading somewhere that everyone relates to Holden for some reason. But, now that I think of it, it may have been a conversation I had with my friend Ashley. Her and her sis love that book, and she was telling me about all the people she knows--young and old--who identified with him so much, despite his crazy randomness. I found a professor's notes on Catcher in the Rye on Google, and this was what he had to say:

"Holden is an atypical teenager. He is alienated more than most adolescents. He also is in the midst of an identity crisis. All teenagers go through these phases, so everyone can relate to Holden to some extent." SO maybe there is truth to the theory. Anyway, my point is that it's totally understandable that Nick would feel at least some connection to the character. For a large part of this story, you get the sense that he's lost somehow. I'm not a romantic in a lot of ways, but I love how you build on the idea that Macy is the key to him finding himself. She helps him see his potential, helps him realize how special he is. It's beautiful.

"All of a sudden, she shrieks out in happiness, jumping into him for a hug, and he’s in too much shock to realize her arms are around him, and that she’s chanting how she never thought she’d actually be able to meet him;" I like this rendition of how he meets macy-super-fan. It's cute how affectionate she is. And that there's this tinge of recognition, but he's too distracted by her behavior to really connect the dots. Keeps things mysterious.

"He stares at her back long and hard, before something takes over him and all of a sudden he finds himself moving closer,...and he hears her take a sharp intake of breath at their close proximity..." This whole scene is magic. Such chemistry, it's unbelievable. My heart beats faster each time I read it.

"...time has stopped and all he can think about, all he can feel is her soft hand rubbing his chin soothingly." I love that part so much.

“Just so you know, I believe in you.” She confesses in a whispery tone, her words invigorating and inspiring his senses to come alive, adrenaline pumping." I love that she tells him she believes in him, and I love his reaction too. Like it's the moment where his inner pan is finally unleashed, free.

"sixteen. part ii." Evert time I see the "part II or I" I remember how newrvous I was that sixteen was just going to end, without letting us see the play, or the plays aftermath. I'm so glad you let us see it all because all of sixteen is pretty much my favorite. Perfect in execution.

"Her mouth is like the give of a peach, and suddenly all he can taste, all he wants to taste is the mouth-watering strawberry flavor of her mouth forever and ever and ever, and he thinks maybe he'd like this to be his neverland." This is still the best kiss description ever. That very first line stuck with me for days.

If I could favorite this again, I would. And that's the truth. ♥
