The wish series has always presupposed that some thing in the set up will change to allow for playing with the plot and development of characters in new directions. My only quibble is that it should be called Soun's wish. Keep it going - would love to see some development of Soun as a competent dojo owner rather than an idiot. The Nodoka turning to Soun's wife - yeah that may be throwing it to the fans, but could turn into some true character development for Soun and Genma = who knows?
