Loved it. I was just thinking about this fic the other day. I keep thinking about the line of how Brass learned about Grissom leaving through the grapevine. I thought that was especially fitting.
Glad you finished the tale. The world needs stories with friendly monkeys (although I still don't trust them. But I trust them more than Bobby Flay. Perhaps if monkeys got a show on the Food Network...)

The monkey featured in TPTB's plans for their grand reunion so it's only fitting he takes centre stage here too. A different ending, which you'd warned me about but I enjoyed it very much.

I'm glad i found this update in my in-box on my return from holidays and I Know I'm going to like the rest of the story for two reasons. I like your style of writing, you're very good at this first person narrative and I like the way you hooked up Brass and Heather. Under different circumstances, I'm sure they'd get on/ get it on. I look forward to the next installment! Oh and also, very clever the way you interpreted the 'would you stay?' line.
