It's nice to see their friendship growing - and to see Severus being a nurse in his stiff, awkward but concerned way.

Check your formatting - ffn has mucked it up. I know that the middle paragraph of the flashback to his mother, beginning "He didn’t want to listen to his mother’s outburst", was meant to be in italics, and so were the first two of the author's notes, and ffn has put them into plain text.

I’m glad you have decided to single out an aspect of your previous story in order to tell more about the growing relationship between Hermione and Snape.
Hermione’s choice of project seems a wish to leave a positive sign in the wizarding world perhaps to fulfil her need to be accepted before leaving it ahead of time, as she thinks.
It’s very sad that Snape’s infamous slip of the tongue is a memory, leapt out of his mind, of his mother’s burst of anger.
Another thing I loved is the sense of safety and assurance we perceive after Snape realizes her problem. Nothing bad can happen when he takes care of.
