Flattered By Mockery 2009-07-21 . chapter 1That was astonishing, it was. D:
The part about Lavi telling Tyki he loved him in countless languages, that was my favourite part. Because there's not enough ways, times, methods one can say it.
And how Kanda was almost scared of what he'd done, and how Lenalee cried- sympathy or shame, none or both? xD That intrigued me for some reason.
And the beginning scene. That was bittersweet too, how everything ended up as an agreement, and how by the end of the battle, things almost felt expected. At least, it did to me, what with the way they were both so upset back in the room, as if they knew what was coming would be inevitable.
And that damn little tag ending - "Lavi became a successful Bookman." That was a lovely twist. I figure most in your stead would've said quite the opposite, that he might've quit in his resignation of his will to live. But I find that this one makes far more sense, and aside from its tragedy, it -would- happen.
Sorry for the long review. I think I'm sleep-deprived. xD
Amazing story, Cackles. I'm glad you shared it with us. [: |
artemis89 2009-07-20 . chapter 1ç_ç so sad! i don't know if i feel worse for Tyki or for Lavi...maybe for Lavi...
'sniff' lately i've read only sad fic about this pairing. WHY? >_< couldn't a fangirl hope in a sweet 'happy ending' somtimes?! TT^TT 'sniff' a part from this the fic is beautiful. your writing is so good, that when i read i felt my heart breaking together with Lavi's.
hope to see you soon with a more happy work (don't mind this, any work is good. it's my humour that is bad lately...) |
