I reviewed this story before, but I wanted to post another review after re-reading it. I've finally read the entirety of "Wild Hunt" and you capture Hellboy and his angst right on the button. What I love is that you really get into what's going on with him, but without indulging in any true spoilers.

I gave in to temptation and read this, and my fear of getting spoiled for Wild Hunt was in vain I don't feel spoiled for the comic at all, just intrigued!
I don't regret putting it on my fav's list either. It fully fills one of the functions of goodfic filling in hidden or neglected bits of plot or development and I think you've got his character down. Comic!Hellboy is a tough nut to crack (which is why I write almost exclusively in movieverse), but I think you got him here.

On top of that, the story flows and builds well. It's like an appetizer to the revelations of Wild Hunt so thanks for that!

Fantastic. I think you grasp comicverse Hellboy and all of his internal and external angst perfectly. I've not gotten up to "Wild Hunt" yet, but you've intrigued me.

I usually write movieverse Hellboy, but I love a great comicverse story and this is one of the best.
