Now, since I got that out of my system I'll tell you what I enjoyed about this chapter. My favorite is the beginning. I love how it's like a flashblack to when Bruce is younger. I love the domino idea! Priceless. You incoporated it so nicely into the story later on, too! Did I say my favorite was the beginning? Well, it was...is...but I also really love the other half of it. I like how you automatically go into the present and discuss with the reader what is going on. Btw, I like the FDR quote! Very good. & I love Alfred! He's always so funny and useful might I add. I like how their discussion relates back to the beginning but also entwines it to the present which I know were your intentions...hence the title. This was well thought out and not once was the reader lost. If anyting they were... engaged in such a delightful chapter. hehe

I presume I will be reading more of this soon. Very soon... :D

Really cool oneshot. I love how the dominoes that he set up helped him later in life as Batman. I really like the scene of Bruce and his father setting the dominoes up too.
