You’ve surprised me with this. It’s so very funny and well written, and it has all of the set ups of an interesting plot! I think the exposition was well handled. My knowledge of newsies is limited to having sung “Seize the Day(it's a pretty song, for what it's worth.) in eighth grade chorus, but the way Jack was written, and the little bits dropped about his past engaged me immediately. I feel like I know something about him now, and more importantly, I want to know more! Stylistically, his parts had a very strong voice. And Jo’s reaction to seeing him! My God. I can’t wait to see where the two of you go with this!(also, the two of you seem to be good at pair writing. Your styles mesh well, and the pacing is as smooth as if this fic is written by one person.)
