Good story. The "Cameron in the Star Trek universe" idea is really nice.

Again, I do like this fic, and I still think that last chapter with Cameron breaking the fourth wall was inspired. Well, thanks for writing this, by for now.

it would be interesting if Cam's involvement somehow saved Kirks life during Generations. Cam Vs the Borg would also be a very worthwhile read. Borg nanoprobs infect organic tissue, but, in theory, because Cam doesn't need her organics to survive and that her mind is controlled by a non organic CPU, the nanoprobs would be useless. Ergo, Cam can't be assimilated that way. The borg would have to capture and dismantle her to assimilate the technology. this is of course assuming you haven't already planed to use fuse the borg queen as skynet as being one and the same.

here's one idea I'd like to see, a temporally displaced teenage version of John from before judgment day somehow being transported into the same space-time as this version of Cameron.

I dont know how it would work... like some temporal thing where john actually goes forward to the 24 century, alternate reality. But in the end, John is back, and Cameron is happy but is like, "Furies, you're relieved... John, Room, Bed, NOW!" lol... I don't know. The Return of John Connor to defeat Skynet in the future would be an interesting twist! *Take another bite of apple* Did they say don't piss off a terminator? ... Just breathe in and out... you'll be fine...

*snicker* I suggest you do what Cameron wants. And can I second the notion?

I've been wondering for awhile now; you've mentioned Gowron 2.0; why couldn't the same thing happen to John? As you described it in the first story, his corpse was still intact enough to provide DNA. A 21 year old or so version, so he has lots of energy for Cameron *evil grin*. I wouldn't put it past Catherine, if she thought he was needed to fight Skynet again, or even section 31 wanting to have him on tap if necessary. John could tell them all to get lost, and decide to indulge his scientific tendencies - maybe as a captain on one of the Starfleet corps of engineers ships? Or how about a starship designer? - before Skynet hears that John's back and resurfaces in a huff.

(Not to mention, if you find a way to bring John back, think about the wedding that Lwaxana would insist upon throwing them!)

About the baby issue; there's such a thing as IVF conception, and surrogate mothers. We can do it now, so I don't see a problem in the 24th century. Or maybe have John 2.0 - or even Data, all cybernetic lifeforms together - work out how to fix that particular programming flaw?

Q's a good idea, but what about Sarah? I say this simply because I think I'd pay real money to see her face off against Cam's grandmother. Sarah Connor vs Lwaxana Troi; to be a fly on THAT wall!

You've said this is before 'Generations' - what are the chances that Cameron will get to meet Kirk and thank him for killing her husband's murderer?

I suppose Q could always show up and take an interest in Cam, afterall Cam would be an interesting specimen for him to examine. A sentient machine who fights for and loves a human. Not to mention how she's essentially a temporal anomoly.

Or I suppose someone can come along and try to clone John Connor for some purpose or another.

In any event, I look forward to seeing how you'll try to meet Cam's demands.

Oh and if you're looking for any future suggestions. I'm thinking since you mentioned Derek and James witnessing First Contact, that it'd be interesting to see Cam come across them when the Enterprise-E went back in time.

Hehehe.. That was funny, so, how you going to do that one? it can't be a flash back, or memory. I am also sure you can give her children too. Ohh, maybe a holodeck? She didnt' say that and it can be real in a way.
