Its a great story. The only error is that Walter calls Sam 'Major Carter' instead of Colonel or just Carter. WOnder Why?

How lovely! I think you have the characters spot on, and the impromptu hug at the end was so sweet. I agree that you can think of this fic as a deep friendship, or a more "harbouring romance" type of thing. And I loved the Walter cameo! Great job!
