Poor Iruka those Mist citizens are so dumb, weren't kids disappearing before Kakashi and Iruka arrived, isn't that the reason that they were asked to come. Can't wait for the next update.

I'm in love with this plot and the interaction between Iruka and Kakashi, as well as their individual characterizations. You're also doing a wonderful job fleshing out the Mist village and its shinobi culture. My only bit of criticism is that I noticed a couple of either dropped words or incomplete ones. I knew what you meant, but the typos were there. I'm a nitpicker like that. Just go over the chapter with a fine-tooth comb, I'm sure you'll find the wee mistakes.

No! Evil plot twist is evil! I'm dying to know what happens next; it's driving me crazy. Evil, evil cliffhanger, even though I'm pretty sure things will be fine by the end of the story... I hope... Anyways, this was brilliant! I'm totally at the edge of my seat and at your mercy for another update. XD Lovely job, again. :)
