Aah! I don't really mind Hotaru x Hayate. I mean, the manga never gave hints of Hotaru x Ruka. My first time in FFN, I was shocked that people paired Hotaru and Ruka. I think it was like SOP because their best friends are a sure couple! But, Ruka has feelings for Mikan. Hmm, again, I made no sense.

Hahaha, when I read Hayate, my eyes widened! I thought it was a RxH fic :D I guess I got used to Ruka x Hotaru pairings. This is something new! I want to read more! :D

sorry... but your author notes kinda ruins my mood-the 'ill consider rukaxhotaru' part. that pairing is just so usual and booring.

Hm... I think Hotaru could be kissed by just about anyone and it would still be good if it was well written. And i personally think Ruka is a bit of a douche. So bring on Hayate!

this is nice, although i did mention in Alice Times that i'm a rukaxhotaru patron. i'm always open to different ideas so i'd say go on with it. however, i'd much love to read more about ruka and hotaru (that is after my trivial tasks from the university... *incomprehensible ranting follows
okay. my little critique (especially made for my dearest pals) the prologue is good although you might (take note of the "might" since it is but my personal preference) need to put spaces or perhaps break lines to indicate where the beginning and end of the prologue is. it is also to present the story better and to avoid confusion. *grins

XD I don't mind that the first pairing's HotaruHayate, they're actually kind of cute together... I'd probably like to see some couples that could possibly happen but possibly NOT happen... XD For a prologue, it's very good. Short but sweet. A good introduction, leaves me wanting more. Keep it up D
