Well, it's been another two and half years, and again, no update. Any chance you'll be posting up anytime soon? I've loved this fic since I first stumbled on it in 2004, and I would LOVE to see it finish, so please. Any time you can spare, please devote it to finishing this story. It truly is one of the best Ranma fics around.

I can't begin to describe how much I love this story. If you can spare any time from your busy life, I beg you to finish this. You are a genius.

Hmm. Okay. I simply must respond to a comment you made in your Author's Notes. You, my dear, should not be so ** yourself in regards to this story. You seem to find it wanting much more than it does.

If we are being honest (I cannot tell a lie, what what), it is not the most polished thing in the world. But it is fanfiction, and old fanfiction to boot. This is the nature of the beast; the beast that I love (most ardently, Miss Bennet). More to the point, this is so far above and beyond the typical Ranma fic that it pains me to read you degrading yourself in this way. Now, if this was some shameless self-insert in which you had green hair and amethyst eyes and Ranma OMG FELL IN LUV WITH YOU LIKE WHOA, I'd understand the trepidation in revisiting it. But it remains that this story is all wit and cleverosity, and still remains one of the best around.

Like Ranma. Except he's The Best. According to him, anyway.

However, it does me a great deal of joy to hear that you have newfound confidence in your writing, and that you've grown so much stylistically as you've aged (as we are wont to do). I hope this means that you'll hand us a bit of that flair as you take up this story once more. Yes, that's my subtle way of asking you to update. Impressive, I realize. My subtlety is as boundless as the dawn.

I hope, though, that in growing, you have not lost that snappy, cutting wit that makes this story so irresistible. The one-liners in this thing are sensational, and should be acknowledged thus. This story is fun and novel - I like a Ranma that comes back and isn't wracked by anger and angst like in EVERY OTHER FIC ZOMG - and I want you to know that I enjoy it as much now, as an adult and college student, as I did when I first read it, in what was probably my early teens. Kudos to you.

Also, you're not allowed to say that everyone thinks the eighth chapter is the best, and then not upload it. NOT ON, mate. :P

Rereading my favorite Ranma fanfiction from back in the day, and I just have to say this: the sexual tension in this chapter is ACE.

I started reading this story in 2004, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it updated again. It's rare to read such an interesting mystery that doesn't get stale on either plot or characters. Your versions of Ranma & Co. are very much in character as well as very much your own. I adore the humor in this as well.

Not to mention I'm so waiting for Akane and Ranma to sleep together with some hilarious and waffy results.

Please update soon? Preferably once a month, or less this time around. Please, it's so hard to find excellent Ranma 1/2 fics.

You evil creature you-! Leaving us in suspense like that.I suppose you take some kind of malignant pleasure in making us suffer and wait for the next time you update, huh? Well anyway, I love the story. I haven't read a good mystery packed up with the right amount of romance in a long time (The Nancy Drew series I used to read just didn't cut it out after a while...Clive Custler is way better...not enough romance though...)
Anyway, I hope that Akane gets to sort out her feelings towards Ranma pretty soon cause I'm really looking forward to a remake of that supposedly "forgotten" kiss. And of course I suppose that you should be nice enough to give the couple a break from all the sexual tension...not that they should be jumping into bed or anything but...*giggles* Well. Hope you update soon.
I'll be waiting...so "soon" better be VERY soon. On that note, I shall leave and say once more that you have a wonderful story going here and I like you wit. Makes the interaction between the characters all the much more fun to read.
