Loved this short but insightful piece on the Kid. From the very first episode, that fantastic series opener with Kid and Katy, I was hooked. So much depth to him, some explored in the series, some not (thank goodness for fanfiction to make up for the deficits).

Though I confess I've never been fond of Lou. Thought she treated him terribly most of the time. But I tolerated her because he did. 8-)

And I was able to like her in this piece because of the great segue you did by linking the end of it to the episode (sorry, I don't remember episode titles) where they went on that ride and she came to her senses and he again proposed.

You captured the essence of Kid beautifully here. Great job.
