loved the last line!

Great story! Nice that the Trio et al support Hermione; and yet, somehow, Hermione supporting Severus can make a majority of one. She's like that, someone.

Still thinking that Snape should have come as Phantom of the Opera or as Zorro--the Muggleborn would recognize him immediately, and points would be made about his actual allegiance in a way that other Slytherins could appreciate.

Freakin' hilarious! While the thought of a pair of Snapes on the dance floor is awesome, and the last line was a bit of brilliance, My favorite bit has to be the door-slamming entrance designed to instill fear in the hearts of all the dunderheads in the room! I can practically hear the echo of the first Snape entrance in the HP films.

although he must have been really deeply upset about their disagreement to have allowed that scene. Either that or she paid for it later in a non-K-rated, yet enjoyable way.

The Wizard's Quick-Step:

Harry Potter stood at the podium. "Everybody, in partial fulfillment of his life debts to me, Severus Snape has agreed to open the festivities with a sprightly jig.

"But first, I want to thank everyone for their generous support. The proceeds of tonight's raffle were triple last year's. On behalf of the James Potter and Sirius Black Foundation, I thank you and I'm sure that Mr. Snape does as well."

As Harry was speaking, Luna Potter and Ginny Zabini escorted a group of about 12 children to a marked areas, next to the dance floor. "At this time, I would like our raffle winners to join the Foundation's children in the marked areas."

With a wave of his hand, Harry levitated Snape to the center of the dance floor and released the petrification. "Remember, aim for his feet only and use ONLY tickling charms. Anyone who violates those rules will receive a STERN talking-to! ... Ready? ... Dance!"

HAHA! I really like the last sentence!
