Glory Bee 5/29/12 . chapter 20
I hope you will continue your story, it is very compelling. I find I am missing Gil-Galad and wonder why he is not part of the Valar's forces.
CrackinAndProudOfIt 5/23/11 . chapter 20
I first read this back in February, but I didn't get around to reviewing till now! I love this story: it's so exciting and creative, along with featuring one of my favourite pairings ever! :) Why so long since the last update, though? Please post the next chapter soon-dying here! Love this! :)
Donroth 10/9/10 . chapter 18
Oh pfft. I've misread the published date for the updated date. I'm so happy this is an active story. I really really really can't wait to read more! You bring so many "minor" characters to life so brilliantly. You've got me shipping Aredhel/Celegorm like anything! I'm definitely going to be following this story and I'm sure it's going to be one heck of a ride. :)
Donroth 10/9/10 . chapter 19
Oh no. It's been so long since you last updated this. And just when the House of Feanor was leaving Mandos! But either way, thanks so much for writing this. Whether you continue or not (though I sincerely hope you do continue cause anything with Feanor and his sons is worth reading, and this gem of a story of yours has them and the entire Noldor in it!), this story has definitely renewed my interest in Silmarillion fanfic and all things Tolkien. I confess, I haven't indulged in my Tolkien addiction in years. Thanks for inspiring me to read and write more Tolkien again.

Hoorah for an update on this fabulous story!

I've always wondered what would happen with Feanor and his sons during the last battle. I found it intriguing that in one of the Histories of Middle Earth (I can't remember if it was Lays of Beleriand or the Shaping of Middle Earth) that JRRT had Maedhros break the Silmarils to rekindle the two trees and then later on had Feanor doing it. I always wondered how he planned to get either one of those two, but especially Feanor, to that point. I don't know if you're going that way in this story, but I'm super-excited that the Feanorians are back and heading out into the world. I loved the confrontation with Feanor and could really feel Celegorm's indecision. And Caranthir... oh how I love Caranthir! I hope to see a lot more of him (and his brothers) in this fic.

And this: "What's a slap when you've been run through by a Sindarin blade, over and over, in your dreams?" What a chilling, perfect, line!

Update again soon!
Meneldur 9/11/10 . chapter 19
Excellent chapter. I feel you perfectly captured the essence of each brother and of Feanor, as well as their motivation. I can't wait to see the House of Feanor in action again. And It's good to know you haven't abandoned the story.
LadyOfNargothrond 9/11/10 . chapter 19
You are writing a true epic and it is awe inspiring how both the children of Iluvatar and dwarves and even hobbits unite against the forces of evil.

The story include many genres and characters but you've succeeded in keeping it coherent. Dagor Dagorath has a lot of material to use for fanfics but few deal with them wherefore I am glad to read this story. I really look forward to know what happens. And eventually we'll reunite with Macalaure, won't we? :)

I was actually wondering if any of the Valar would turn up any time soon. I like the idea of Ulmo sort of following them - it's like a glimmer of hope. Fingon's protectiveness of Aredhel is sorta cute, though it must be annoying for his sister!

Yay, finally an update! I think what I liked most about this particular chapter was the nice little scene between Spektaz and Turgon. The idea of a little nerdy kid being attached to a proud and aloof Elf-King - and said Elf-King actually not minding it - made me smile so much. Are we going to see any more out of the Feanorions? Especially, ahem, one Clezza? D

Min Daae 11/5/09 . chapter 17
As you know, I am not very good at being coherent about this, but I will do my very best.

This chapter, I love it. I love the anxiousness and slight annoyance you get from Turgon, how you're not afraid to let him be a little elitist without losing his sympathy. I like your comparison of the dark of the ship and the way he thinks of Maeglin and Angband. I like his dwelling on the horses and having to kill them.

And most of all I think I just love the fact that this little ragtag dorkboy has attached himself to an Elfking known for his pride and - other things - and Turgon is just sort of perplexed but pleased at the same time.

And I still want to know what's happening next, I will confess especially with Ar and Feanorians. You make me anxious, uhhuh.
Araloth the Random 10/31/09 . chapter 16
Narvi. . .the guy who helped Celebrimbor make the Moria Gate? Must brush up on 'The Fellowship' knowledge! Dandelion's kinda cute, methinks. :)

I was wondering when we were going to see that lot. The depressing and insane atmosphere of Mandos is very well done and Caranthir's suffering - actually, all the brothers' suffering - is heart-rending. Makes me want to cry. And yet another cliffie. *shakes fist* You better update soon or I'll end up going mad with wanting to know what Mandos wants!

Araloth the Random 9/10/09 . chapter 14
How depressing! Poor Aredhel. This line especially made me want to cry: “Tyelkormo, don't cry, please, you're breaking my heart when you sob like that.” And I was very sad to find that poor Argon had died. Again. *cries* Will this ever end well?

Araloth the Random 9/4/09 . chapter 12
It's quite true that the Elves would have a hard time understanding our world and the 'nebulous concept' of TV. The East and West - is this something to do with a renewal of the Cold War? I love the random cameos, by the way!

Araloth the Random 8/27/09 . chapter 11
*Gasp* Gah, stop right there, why don't ya? D I really like the family moments and Fingon's brotherly concern. The conflicting emotions were strong and well-depicted. And the cliffies...*glares*
