I love re-reading this story. So much vivid emotion. I love the tone and atmosphere, though Sheryl's reason for leaving still remains unknown.

In fact, this story moved me so much I went to read Drifting Skies again for the full effect and then came back to browse through this one again XD They really go very well together *turned to happy happy mush now*

Sheryl's point of view is incredibly heartbreaking ;A; And your incredible descriptions of those scenes make it all the more moving )': I particularly loved the balloon analogy and the origami centerpiece ; v ; so awesome beyond belief. And the San Francisco-Frontier usage made me smile :D:D:D

And then the end... *sigh* it was simply gorgeous. She doesn't need the services of the stolen shirt anymore! And she got her heart back from San Francisco/Frontier! 8D

I seriously seriously love this. Maybe even more than the first. Which I adored. 8D

Awesome follow-up to the first part. I just really was able to feel both Sheryl's regret and her fear throughout the piece. Of course I am beyond happy that in the end Alto and Sheryl got the happiness they deserve. Hopefully the movies will follow similar lines- I have my fingers crossed.
