| Lonely Shadow 2005-09-07 ch 25, anon. | abuseNice story. The plot was wonderfully thought out, but your writing has a bit to be disired. Who knows though...you wrote this what, three years ago? i'm sure you've improved by now. You have a lot of potenial (sp?), you're words and sentences just aren't...creative enough. You're good, but you use too many common words to describe feeling. And you use the word 'just' WAY too much. Like, instead of saying 'She leaned against him and they just stayed there for a while, watching the sunset,' try something more poetic. Maybe something like: 'As they stared out at the brilliant sunset of red and yellow, she leaned against him; quietly enjoying the moment of sirene contentment.' That's just my opinion though. And like I said, I'm sure you've improved by now...so whatever. Just a little peice of advice I wanted to share:) Later. ~Shadow |
