i really love this- just because of how natural everything feels as the story goes along :D

This is... hard to describe. A twist, a tweak into an aftermath with things making just a bit more sense than the anime. I always thought there was a really interesting story behind the anime that noone ever got to see - you may not have matched what I'd come up with in my mind, but you certainly cut a very interesting aftermath story nonetheless. Haruko's feeling about leaving and the later commentary on her reasoning by various people was well done, in particular. As was the ending, come to think of it. Overall, a solid oneshot.

Not only is it very well written in a biblical fashion and balanced, (Ninamori is great pragmatic counterpoint to Naota), but don't think everyone missed the dark tower references, sai. And that is enough to make me love this above all others.

I liked this story. It was great and actually had an ending unlike a lot of other stories. Keep it up.

Your writing style is so perfect for this anime. It's strong and it's different. There's something good in every sentence. There are phrases I want to eat, like "When she leaves, the sky is still red and the earth is still shaking like the breath of god's hitched in his throat, heavy and uncomfortable" becase they're just so delicious to read. I haven't read a piece like this before. It's pure, condensed win.
