omg i loved this. i actually cried a bit

Fucking god, that was so... So... It's amazing, seriously. It was so perfectly, so beautifully written, I am really amazed. Uh, also, I wanted to... Uh, you know, I wanted to try to translate it to my native language. So, un, I wanted to know if I can?

Oh wow. Hibari, for all his strength and violently antisocial nature, can really be a tragic character in the right circumstances. It was rather odd to read in 1st person POV for Hibari, simply because he's such a "mysterious" guy but I think you managed to pull it off pretty well. And oh so heart-wrenchingly. The style is gentle, very much so, and yet... In the end, Dino wasn't there at all. It's only until this fact is realized that the small discrepancies come to light. Like at the beginning where Dino somehow makes it to the door without Hibari noticing. Or how Hibari wakes up in the bed with no memory of how he got to there from the shower.

This fanfiction is probably the prettiest one I've ever read. It's like a storybook. It shouldn't be placed in Fanfiction. You write a whole lot better than other proffesional authors out there. Wow. You are officially one of my favourite authors. Wow.

I can't really say much, because I find this fanfic flawless. The story starts off peaceful, dreamy, and I think it stays like that throughout. The way it was written kept me in some bubble-like thing, where everything was perfectly quiet and peaceful and yet floaty. I have to learn how to write like that.

The ending is a bit like a sort-of rude awakening, although I had been suspecting that from the middle of the story onwards, including why Dino was never acknowledged by other people. And the quote really sums everything up.

If I had to use one word to describe this fanfic, I wouldn't really know, because it's angsty and yet fluffy and yet weird. So I would say it's very light/airy/something like that. I've never seen anyone write that sort of fanfics as well as you. Awesome job.

This is the most beautifully written story I have ever read. Putting aside my bias for D18, you have written this oneshot in such complexity and you have captured Hibari's feelings and attitudes so well that the ending made me cry. I would also like to mention how none of the plot reveals the ending and so it was almost completely unpredictable. I love surprise endings but this one was so sad and heartfelt that I must add this to my favourites XD

Wow. Just wow. That ending completely threw me off, and it was only until I reread it that I finally saw all the hints!

"The dreams roil of darkness and unease, such I cannot place."

This line was seriously an indicator as to something being wrong, but alas, the slow me completely missed it the first time .

"I notice they are strangely quiet towards you"

"I have taken blows I normally would not have because you, herbivore, do a sloppy job of covering my left."

It's funny how the second time you read it, there are explanations as to the lack of Dino's presence!

Lastly, I love how you ended and started with the same lines, it rounds it all up )
