Well, I was just thinking about you and your stories, and had re-red Switzerland and Sweet Life, and wondered about whether you had something up your sleeve, and there it was. Another great read. Liked your use of KE, and telling how Earl's death affected him, too. If Ennis and KE had had a better relationship when they were younger, maybe they could have had this talk 15 or 20 years before, and saved Ennis a lifetime of fear. So many "what-ifs", which makes for a lot of thought as those are played out on paper in AUs.
