Wow. This was soo sweet. I like how there was some angst, but it was nicely spread, more along the lines of how real people do it, and not having Jim soak in a bucket of his own angst. A very beautiful piece. Especially Taleena. ;)

This was beautifully written. I'm not usually one to leave a review, but after reading this I had to go back and read it all over again. The imagery was stunning and the slow unwinding of the story was perfect. I was enthralled when Spock had his sudden epiphany about Kirk needing him, and after that I knew I was going to enjoy the rest of the ride. Really, a lovely job.

Ah, perfection is really an unattainable, static thing, but reaching for it is sublime. This story nudges up so close to perfection it takes my breath away. Thank you so much for posting this.

Gorgeous. Mostly perfect. Just a few sentences where Spock's syntax seems to be a bit inconsistent. Especially "shamed the Vulcan to bits", and "His theory, however, seemed to be disproven quick enough" The first one is rather out of character, and the second should be "disproven quickly enough", in order to be grammatically correct.

But overall, lovely and heart-warming.

I can't believe I didn't see this story of yours until now! I loved every moment of it. It was so sweet and sad at the same time! Great writing as usual. All of your work is so awesome!

Listening to "Aristotle and Avarroes" while reading this just makes it so much more awesome, because now that song is officially ingrained with Spock/Kirk in my mind. =D

I like "Quasi una fantasia" more, only for my personal preference for dark fiction (will there be a sequel?). But still I enjoyed this piece very much. Thank you.

I don't favorite or review much, not to be stuck up, but I save pretty words for only the best of pieces I stumble upon. This, I am happy to tell you, certainly qualifies. This was so beautifully written, every adjective was placed in the perfect place, Spock was completely in character, as was Kirk and the festival was described wonderfully. I loved how the story centered mostly on Spock and his self-control and you made the effect of him losing that self-control so slow and poetic that it made it believable and, again, in character. Kirk's insecurities were terrifically portrayed as irrational, but humane, and the references to other episodes were simply perfect, really, really perfect. This fanfiction really deserves many more reviews. So, congradulations on a really beautiful, perfect, wonderful, terrific piece as well done as anyone could have written it. I've added you to my very select favorites list and alert list. I hope to read more from you in this fandom. Good luck in future endeavors, and I am sure you will hear from me again.
