I should review more than I do; but for a review I prefer to have something to say more useful than "I like it."
I do, however, enjoy this story and no exceptionally constructive feedback comes to mind right now. Your characters are very well written, and the changing dynamic from their appearances in the series is believably done.

Now then: actual review. I like how you've added a realistic depth to the characters. Quinn's transition feels very true, though I wonder that none of the extended family (Jake's mother, Helen's sisters) have shown up to grieve Daria's death. I think Amy at least would have shown up.
Other than that: wonderful job you're doing, minx. I can't wait to see what happens in the near future of this story. Waiting with baited breath and all that,

First, just a few minor nitpicks. 1-If you're going to abbreviate "okay", it should be done this way: 'kay. It's a word, not just a couple letters. 2- The usage of your and you're.
ex. Your (possessive) "Your mom" "Your face" "Your fat ass"
ex You're (you are) "You're a purple kangaroo" "You're ugly"

I love how easily the characters are meshing together..you've grabbed the essence of all from both Dead Like Me and Daria...Also, the plot has me hooked! Can't wait for more!

I liked the short epilogue of part one and its focus on Quinne and I really enjoyed Sam's death, I imagine that it can get really hard to keep coming up with gruesome deaths. In any case, I thought you did a really good job on the transition and I look foward to reading about Tom's funeral. =)
