Steel Quill
2009-12-30 . chapter 1
As with beautiful imagery, comes feeling.

I can't describe why this is so human, so appealing to the human emotion, but I think what you're trying to do is fabulous.

I'd really like to read more of what you're writing with this. There's just so much that strikes a personal chord it's embarrassing.

This is absolutely beautiful, just to let you know. I know you have plans for a second chapter, but this would also do just fine as a one shot. Very well done.

This was painful yet wonderful. I hope you decide on a happy ending.

Woah that IS sad.. :D

I'll hope for a happier ending. I mean, Sam had to shut down for the AllSpark to be formed, fine.. but once the AllSpark is formed, then it's basically back up to its super-powered capacity, right?

The planet has been repaired, so it has nothing big to do but mooch around and make the occasional spark.

Maybe it could then re-create a body for it's 'Sam' persona and place the spark back in it? Even if you choose not to, I can't help but imagine somethign happier for Bee. :D

Ugh, one of the sadder songs in my iTunes library came on near the ending of the fic. Have to admit, my eyes were watery after it.
I'd say keep it in the mood it's already in and give it a hopeful ending.
Great story. Sad, but great.

I've read this like 3 times now--and everytime I read it I cry. It's beautifully written_loving, fatalistic, sad, beautiful, hopeful. It would be nice if Sam's soul/spark could be reincarnated into another protoform_(i think that's what they call blank robot forms before a spark is put in it). They so deserve a happy ending 2gether after all they have been through_and you've had Bee alone for so long already. I've read one story that said a vorn is approximately 80ish years and if 100 vorns have passed-that's like 8,0ish years Bee has been without Sam. A visit to the 'all spark'; I don't know about that. Sam carried the all-spark but he was also Sam. Sam was a separate soul unto himself. What will Bee be looking for when he goes to visit the all-spark? Maybe that would be interesting to read. Whether you continue with this or not; I look forward to reading more of your writing. You're a great story teller. Thanks for sharing.

Can I assume that this is connected to the other TF fic you have? Or is that coincidental? Anyway, I enjoyed this. I'd like a happy ending (I'm kinda addicted to those), but if a sad one fits better, then I think you could make me like it just from what I've seen of your stories so far.
