WargishBoromirFan 2009-11-10 . chapter 3Okay, to be honest, I was "aww"ing when Kiba found Cheza at the end. It's great to see that A: the chosen one has to actually make some decisions and think about what they'll cost her, B: Cheza's not the only chosen one, so to speak, with an ear to her god, and C: warm fuzzies. (I'm a sucker for warm fuzzies, especially when in character.) |
WargishBoromirFan 2009-09-09 . chapter 2You've definitely gotten my attention with this chapter. You've got a unique style, and I like the way you're building up your villians here. Hige was also pretty true to character. |
Eamonn. 2009-08-19 . chapter 1 Can i first state how impressed i am with several aspects of this work.
The Character introductions are first class, sharp and intriguing.
The overall plot runs along like a train on a smooth track. It leaves the reader with a growing curiosity about where the story is heading which is the primary goal of all writers.
A solid effort so far. |
John 2009-08-12 . chapter 1 The story makes use of vivid imagery and good dialogue; however, the setting is hard to follow at times. |
Man's Best Friend 2009-08-11 . chapter 1I love it! Love what you did with the story. The writing is a little rough around the edges, but otherwise good. Can't wait to read more. |
WargishBoromirFan 2009-08-09 . chapter 1Though I personally tend to prefer the subtler Tolkien method to Lewis-like straight-up allegory, if even that much, you've certainly got a unique style here. I've no comment on the religous themes, since that can be a severely thorny and personal topic, but this turned out to be much better than I expected: different, but well written. |
