Your stories are great. Really amazing.

Whew! What a relief. Fun to see Logan and Alec tipping a few back together, and yay! for the Winchesters. Love a happy ending, hour-long weekly episode style.

Little concrit: There was a lot of tense switching, present and past tense and randomly used past perfects, that made the read a little choppy and distracting through all 6 chapters of this. I don't remember having noticed that in World Through Windows. If you want help cleaning it up, lemme know. :)

OHH! haha, now I feel dumb. For all my over-analyzing, I don't get the OBVIOUS stuff. Dean isn't HERE, he's using Alec as a meat suit. Which also means Logan wasn't physically in 09 either; he was using Michaels as a meat suit. OMG, I'm so dense.

Literal LOL. "Logan is pretty sure that is not how you are supposed to go about summoning an angel." My geriatric beagle and my 13 month old daughter are both giving me funny looks now.

First of all, creepy creepy reintroduction of Lilith-girl. I don't think I mentioned it in reading World Through Windows, but her little nursery rhyme stuff is CREEPY! Very well done.

I found an interesting parallel between the demon-blood "supercharging" in the Supernatural plotline and the transgenic-blood transfers in Dark Angel.

Just curious: I think it's fun and funny to play on the "physical similarity" between Dean and Alec, but for it to be so extreme as to fool a bunch of transgenics who know Alec so well... is there more to it than coincidence-by-casting-director? Maybe some government hands-on'ing the Winchester gene pool?

Which leads me along on the bizarre tangent of finding it amusing that SPN-Jensen is the vessel of the ArchAngel Michael, but DA-Jensen is just the vessel of smart-alecky character foilness to Max, who is the vessel of ...whatever it was that her genes held that we never got to find out because of the stupid network cancellation. (Still a little bitter.) Throw Dean Winchester in the mix and maybe he's more than that.

And yeah, thanks for the Foyle explanation. :) I'm a total geek. I own it. And don't sweat it. Overanalyzing these things make it fun for me. ;)

Better late than never? Anyway, this was great and fun and had lots of these unexpected turns and ideas that make perfect sense on second thought.

“Manticore used DNA from any number of places.” Logan hesitates. “I have no idea how they found yours but they did.”
So love this, perfectly logical explanation.


“You sent me a letter and few post cards,” Logan says. “I’ve dropped you a few tips on cases. Set you up with some ID cards a few times. Talked on the phone once or twice, but it’s hard to get a handle on cell reception. Best I can tell you’re in better shape than I am.”
Still one of my favorite parts, their ongoing, distant connection.

"They move slowly outside and into the sickly green light. There are screams off in the distant. Logan can barely hear them but to Dean with Alec’s borrowed hearing, they must sound impossibly loud. He’d been half afraid that their location had changed completely during the night but after a moment Logan was able to recognize the ruins of Terminal City.
Terminal City has always been run down, the buildings in disrepair, but over the past two years, the transgenics had installed a sort of order to them, a working chaos. They weren’t this made maze of burnt out shells in front of him. That was impossible."
I probably still haven’t watched enough Supernatural but one of the best parts is simply the hell-scenery, not stereotypical red and burning but a sick green, the emptiness and destruction and Dean’s reaction to it.

"She looks at him hard for a moment, something unrecognizable in her eyes and then, moving with what Logan has mentally dubbed the superman blur she suddenly has her arms around him, hugging him tight, her face buried into his neck.
“I though they’d got you.” Max mutters. “I woke up and you were just gone.”
This parallel universe is just fascinating, the mix of familiar and unfamiliar, a different story of Manticore and the escapees merging into Supernatural apocalypse… just cool but best is how it mingles with the other worlds and merges with their plan of bringing down the devil. Different Max is fascinating too, both more terse and softer (simply accepting Logan as a partner, not the whole ‘not like that’ and virus) but somehow just in character…


“Cut me a break,” Logan mutters. He sits down, just out of contact range of Max. “I thought you were a serial killer at the time.”
Dean shakes his head. “Fucking shapeshifters.”
Logan smiles."
Ah, the camaraderie of referring to shared memories.

“Me and Sam figured it out,” Alec says. “The only way to switch us back was with the blood and it was damn clear I couldn’t do it because if it killed me, it killed Dean and the world was damned... I though I was going to wake up with you dead.”
Cool to imagine Sam and Alec working together, somehow seems to fit just like with Logan and Dean. (And I can just imagine Alec complaining about being stuck in an ordinary, older body)

Loved how the end is tying in with the beginning, with the kid coming in to ask for Logan (still really like the scene)… and the whole reunion ending scene…

hey insane, i don't know why you have so little reviews, i thought both of your World's fics where awesome. One of the first fics i've seen that has a new spin on this crossover and it is well written as well.I was getting so tired of all the baddly writtn dean/sam find alec fics so your fics have been a breath of fresh air. I loved the Dean/logan interaction. The way they seem to balance each other out, and the way they mesh is awesome. I could almost wish you would write more in this verse, or mayb some outakes or something, but your done, i kno. Thanks for writting, i hope to see more of your work around.
